I See You.

What follows are captures of conversations with strangers, neighbors, friends & family, myself and other creatures of the universe. I experience these as a meeting of our need to be seen, just as I feel seen when you read a piece.

One April Morning….

The Iora calls out in a whistle.
And hides.
Saplings drink up to giggle. We play.

Kiddie Popcorn

“Can you get me popcorn please? Smallest size you have!”. On the point of sale I saw the entry for a ‘Large Popcorn’. Before my tab is ringed, I say, “Yaar, sabse chota wala Large hai kya?”. “Yes sir”, comes back the reply and I laugh. “Ok then, lemme think and come back”. I start to walk away. A voice behind the counter says, “How about the kiddie pack?”. My body feeling resolution and all my teeth showing, I say, “Salt and Caramel mixed please” :D.
